Jobs and industry decide whether a planned region fills up, so it is worth knowing which projects are actually moving.
- Medical Device Park, Sector 28: about 350 acres. YEIDA's project page records in-principle approval from the Government of India on 24 September 2021, completed external development works, internal development in progress, and 124 plots allotted. One report says the completion date was extended to March 2027.
- Film City, Sector 21: the developer selected is Bayview Projects LLP, a venture of Boney Kapoor and Bhutani Infra, with an estimated cost of ₹1,510 crore. The concession agreement was signed in June 2024 and the first-phase layout of 230 acres was approved in June 2025. An August 2026 report says the project was still waiting for financial closure, so treat the construction timeline as unconfirmed.
- A plastic processing park of about 100 acres was approved in 2023.
